Google gets tougher on affiliates and advertisers
Affiliates should avoid pages created uniquely for search engines, or with poor or no content, or those page could be removed from Google index.
We should now build content rich pages, if we intend to send merchants products, and not just put one or two banner codes...
Anyway, it's better for everybody: For the surfers and for the affiliates, as we will have more content to give to our customers, and more chance to get a sale.
On the other hand, the customer is satisfied with the content of the websites he visits.
For Adwords advertisers, their landing page must be relevant and match with the ad, otherwise, they will pay more per click!
Upon that, for affiliates who are selling Comission Junction's merchant products, they announced recently that they will change the HTML code for their links to javascript codes!
A very difficult time for Comission Junction affiliates, as they will have to change all their links on their websites on 23 june.
Stay tuned for more infos.
